ABOUT
What We Do

We're a studio that designs storytelling classes that society needs, reigniting the joy of writing where it has been taken away.
With us, "ordinary people" find their own voice and story while being in the company of others.
Our students come from all walks of life. Some are parents with flexible schedules. Some are office workers who take weekday mornings away from the office. Some have just been retrenched and are reshaping the meaning of their time.
Whoever you are, we believe you have enough to write, and would just benefit from a space and gentle guidance.

Our Why &
Who We Are
We've seen what writing stories (re)ignites for people: agency, bravery, clarity, and dignity.
We could go on, as if the ABCs were made to qualify what makes writing so worth being a way of life.
We're led by 2022 National Geographic Explorer Thammika Songkaeo, who is also the Penguin Random House SEA author of Stamford Hospital, and our larger teams are project-based.
We run Writing's Good Enough with molecular biologist Liyana Ow Yong, PhD. We ran Changing Room journaling workshops with dancer and choreographer Adelene Stanley. We ran more journaling workshops with Singapore-based brands Sui and Su by Hand.
All in all, we form the right team to create the learning atmospheres unique to each project. Everyone counts on our teams.

OUR VISION
To make writing a way of life for everyone
WE'RE QUIET BUT
RECOGNIZED
We keep our heads down and do our work, but we've been mentioned in the Singapore Parliament (March 2023). Our team members have won grants from the Singapore Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and the National Geographic Society. Internationally, we've been featured in the Bangkok Post.
But the best recognition might be from our learners.
See our "Gallery of Fun" and their testimonials below.
